The Shoot

Arriving on location there were some speedbumps initially, effecting the final product. First of which was the intense Cape Town wind on the Atlantic seaboard where the shoot was taking place, gusts made it hard to stay steady and have a perfectly aligned image. Secondly was the amount of moving elements in the background of the shot, cars, busses, and people were all constantly interrupting the overall harmony of the image which later all had to be removed in post.

Post Production

Using various software I was able to curate these final images from the shoot, which I was very pleased with. Firstly I used Adobe Lightroom to mask different areas within the images and play with light as well as bring the cars colour to life, Lightroom was also used to complete all of the clean up within the images, removing cars, busses, and people walking in the background using Lightroom's AI removal feature. The second step was upscaling the photos using Topaz AI editing software to increase image quality. Finally using Adobe Photoshop the number plate of the car was removed and ready to ad Apex Arrival's logo per the client's request.
